TRINDADE & DEMIRKAPU BATTLE FOR FEATHERWEIGHT WORLD TITLE IN ANTWERP

GLORY, the world’s largest kickboxing organization, officially returns to Belgium with GLORY 110 on October 17 from the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. The event marks GLORY’s first event back in Belgium after GLORY 94 which took place in a sold-out & electric Lotto Arena in August 2024 and fans can expect an even bigger event. 

Headlining GLORY 110 will be a contest for the vacant GLORY featherweight world championship as Portuguese sensation Miguel Trindade (65-8, 26 KO) takes on Belgian ‘Bad Boy’ Deniz Demirkapu (18-5, 11 KO). 

The news comes following the recent retirement of former longtime champion Petch and his decision to relinquish the title. 

Trindade is widely regarded as one the most exciting kickboxers to watch in the world title today. The 25-year-old is a former title contender & grand prix finalist and holds career wins over Bobo Sacko, Kento Haraguchi, Berjan Peposhi & Chadd Collins. 

2026 has been a breakout year for Deniz Demirkapu with three wins in a row. Hailing from Turkey but fighting out of Belgium, the 26-year-old is relishing the opportunity to fight for the GLORY featherweight world title in front of his own fans in his adopted home and promised a spectacular event.

"This is a dream scenario for me; fighting for a GLORY world championship in Belgium. I love this country and all it has given me,” said Demirkapu. “I am expecting an electric atmosphere and a crazy support. Regardless of who is in front of me, 2026 is my year and I am bring the world title to Belgium and my native Turkey."
